Students must complete at least seventy-five (75%) of the course required hours at Tampa Vocational Institute in order to receive a Certificate of Completion from the program. In addition, all fees must be paid in full, the student must meet attendance requirements, demonstrate a working knowledge of the subject matter, and meet minimum scoring requirements (average) on all coursework and exams as required by the program. The certificate is designed to prepare the student to obtain employment as a skilled professional worker.
For students that are enrolled into programs that include industry recognized certification, upon successful passing of industry recognized certification exams, a separate Certificate of Licensure will be mailed to the student by the licensing authority. All certification exam vouchers include (1) retake exam should a student not pass the initial exam.
